The event with which the El.En. Group celebrated its first 40 years of history at Certosa in Florence, in the presence of the world champion of Spain '82 Giancarlo Antognoni heralded a historical moment. Summing up, the balance was extremely positive over time. But now is the time to roll up our sleeves even more and to reflect about the future...

The impossibility of participating in live congresses has complicated the work of those who believe firmly that Medical training needs continual exchange of information and experience internationally. On the other hand, the ongoing medical emergency has enabled interactions through digital platforms. Both scientific companies and corporations and, why not, even magazines like ours can get in touch with national and foreign experts, proposing easy to do interviews and collaborations.

I’ve worked for nearly 40 years in distribution of medical laser products and since the late 1980s I mainly manage international markets. Over the years I’ve worked with the largest Italian companies and since 2006 I’ve worked for DEKA, where I currently follow the markets of South America, Russia and some central Asian countries.

I’ve been with this company over 10 years and today I coordinate a wonderful team of 8 product specialists across all of Italy. My university technical training in electronics and my passion for dissemination found the perfect job here at DEKA! A good coach enhances the aptitudes of the resources he coordinates and grows with them. I believe deeply in sharing, in team strength that thrives on working together and having fun while working. It isn’t impossible to create cohesion! Empathising and being there for the team makes it possible to overcome any obstacle and working our best.

The company’s story began in 2016 but the company manager started working in 2012 in several companies as a maintenance engineer until he decided, with a team of young people, to open Tower Beauty Trading. The collaboration with DEKA started at the end of 2018. The Iraqi market is very tough and there is strong competition with competitors who provide very strong facilities for workers, but thanks to our experience and strong customer relationships, we’ve been able to build a solid foundation with Deka.

In physics, resilience is the capacity of a material to resist impact. In psychology, the term takes on the meaning of resistance to a disruptive, negative adverse event, or to a tragic situation.

The resilience is the capacity to adapt to a constantly changing environment without losing sight of the core purpose. In changing times resilience is the ability to persevere and achieve business objectives - it’s about the ability to keep ongoing despite set with the right skills and products for the challenges to be faced. DEKA is moving on a new way of creating authentic relationship with dealers and clients through many digital tools which have been implemented.
